Congrats to the winning donor!

We want to both thank and congratulate Liz Johnson, a Cambridge Public School parent who donated in order to keep CitySprouts’ Summer Youth Internship free and accessible to kids from all walks of life. Liz is the lucky donor from Monday whose name was drawn at random to receive a gift card for Kitchensurfing (of course we also want to give a big thank-you to Kitchensurfing for generously donating this prize!). Liz was kind enough to share why she gave to CitySprouts:

“My two kids go to the Morse School love the CitySprouts garden there. I wish they could be outside in the garden every day. There’s so much to learn from digging in the dirt. When I pick them up from Afterschool my daughter asks to walk through the garden as we walk down Granite Street.”

Thank you, Liz, and everyone else who has donated to support the Summer Youth Internship. We still have one more day to raise the necessary funds. Give today, and change a child’s summer!
