What is the CitySprouts green team?

The CitySprouts Green Team is a summer and after school program for middle schoolers ages 10- 14 (rising 5th graders through 8th grade). As members of the CitySprouts Green Team, kids make a more sustainable place to live through growing plants and exploring the natural environment in the city. The CitySprouts Green Team is for middle school youth who live or go to school in Boston or Cambridge. It is tuition-free to families.

The Green Team after school clubs take place during the school year in East Cambridge, Roxbury and Dorchester. Throughout the year, ​​clubs meet at CitySprouts school sites or they support our urban farm partners to plant, maintain the plots, help with the harvest, and hone garden and leadership skills.
